We love this place and have been coming for decades. I swear they are making your order before you even get out of the car! So fast! Best breakfast around!

Had breakfast, amazing potato pancakes and strawberry jam!!!! Had all our orders correct and in good time. The facilities have a lot to be desired especially the restrooms but the small greasy diners always come through. Service was amazing. Friendly and there when you need and want them! We all had custom orders and the waitress and cook got it right!!!! Best of all knew what we were talking about when we ordered! People complaining about greasy, you obviously are in the wrong restaurant. This is a small hometown diner that is supposed to be this way. Please move on to Panera!

Great home town cooking. Made our party of 12 comfortable and welcomed.

Doesn't get any better breakfast. I really like the cabinet in the middle of the room where they bring out the fresh & still warm homemade pies for display waiting for you to order a piece. Places like this, very hometown stuff, disappeared in the western suburbs of Chicago long ago. Nice to find a good home cooking place like Cecil Diner. I also get a "diner" coffee mug every time I'm there.

Closing times vary. Cheap delicious comfort food in this diner that used to ba called "Rosie's" with carpet on the walls. No more carpet these days but still the same home cooked food and friendly staff. Service is up north paced so don't go in starving. They do accept cash and debit/credit cards; they just cannot do tips on cards. No checks accepted.

I enjoyed the diner. I had a great and huge omelet there. The cook was very friendly and helped me figure out how to make a rhubarb pie.

Said potatoes were real and they smelt like old cardboard, chicken was supposed to be fried and was tougher than dog jerky, gravy was cold from jar, Gerber makes more appealing veggies, hamburger tasteless and fried tastes like old oil and waitress was definition of slow. Glad I didn't order chilli. If I hear reports of new cook she better food I'd try again. Until then, one of the top 5 grossest meals.

This place is just a great old diner in cecil WI ON hwy 22 great food and service been going there for 25 years+.

Bread had a weird taste to it and was yellow

Was always good, great service & reasonable pricing. Out if business now due to owners health issues. Will miss it. Was always great for Sunday morning for breakfast before church.

Are you kidding me?! This place is a hidden gem! Yum yum yum. Chorizo and eggs were perfect! Who knew this little diner had so much to offer?

Foods very low priced. Always very hot food. And the waitress' are very accommodating.

I had a french dip sandwich beef was tuff n had no flavor bread fell apart should of used a hoggie bun my husband have a breakfast corn beef hash n hashbrowns weren't very good either 😞

I have been going to the Cecil Diner for 30 years or more. Nothing fancy, just good food and service and fair prices. My favorite meal is their breakfast. The senior menu is hard to beat. Service is exceptional and coffee flows constantly.

Stopped on a whim. Service was very good. Prices reasonable and portions large. Lunch arrived quickly and was tasty.

Nice little diner tucked away on a side street. In and out for breakfast in under 45 minutes and the most reasonable prices you could ever expect. Food looked good and tasted good as well. Well-worth the price and just what you need at the start of a road trip.
